Steven Sproat is a singer songwriter with 6 albums behind him since the late ‘80s.
An accomplished guitarist, songwriter and ukulele exponent Steven is the Author to several best selling Tutorial books around the world. His forthcoming 5th Album will be called ‘Fruit for the Soul’ and shows the maturity of his songwriting and ability to discover catchy melodies and hooks. Stick around long enough and people start to notice; and that’s what’s beginning to happen, at last, to a fine independent artist.
His music has been played on BBC Radio 2 (Jeremy Vine, Aled Jones, Ed Stewart) and he has featured on TV including The One Show with Nicky Campbell, Alan Titchmarsh Show ITV and Frank Skinner’s recent BBC4 TV doc about George Formby.
With over 35 years playing experience he has appeared at numerous Festivals including Edinburgh Festival, Cheltenham Jazz Festival and Clubs such as The Mean Fiddler and Ronnie Scotts in London with appearances in New York and Dublin. He supported the legendary Jools Holland 2012 at various dates around the UK.
